Project participation

We are always looking for interesting single photos or entire albums related to World War II. If you have such photos in your collection or family archive and would like to publish it here – do not hesitate to contact us.
Only scans of original photos (resolution 1200 dpi or more, RGB) will be accepted. We are sorry but no images taken by digital camera, even in high quality. Photos found in Internet or taken from reference book are not accepted for publication (but you are welcome to discuss them at our forum). Decision about publication will be made by project administration. Every photo will be marked with watermark “Photo archive of www.photo-war.com” to protect them from unauthorized copying, this term is obligatory! Personal data of image or album owner will be published if needed. The further use of photographic materials out of the site «Private archive of military-historical photos» will be carried out only with the permission of the owner.

We hope that photos and information published here will be interesting and useful for the different visitors: collectors, historians, re-enactors of historical events and to all people who would like to see moments of the greatest tragedy of civilization like World War II was.
